Series spin-off from the 2021 film, starring Stephen Graham, picking up six months later. As new restaurant Point North faces big money investors in the dining room, head chef Carly battles personal demons, while chaos in the kitchen pushes her staff to boiling point. As the kitchen descends into the controlled chaos of the service, new chef de partie Johnny arrives for a trial shift. In among the flambéing, pan frying and blanching hive of activity, it quickly becomes apparent that Johnny's skills are not up to scratch.
