'The Mandalorian' season 2 has added two more directors to its roster.

The list of directors assembled for season one of 'The Mandalorian' - including Bryce Dallas HowardTaika Waititi, Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa and Dave Filoni - wound up being one of the show's biggest attractions; as well as a major contributor to its success.

So far, those confirmed to be helming episodes in season 2 include Dave Filoni (who helmed the pilot to 'The Mandalorian' and season 1’s "The Gunslinger"); Rick Famuyiwa (who also directed episodes in season 1); cast member Carl Weathers and showrunner Jon Favreau.

Having been previously rumoured to be a director, it has been officially confirmed that Robert Rodriguez will helm episodes in the series, and he isn't the only confirmed name.

Yesterday (May the 4th) saw Rodriguez officially announce on Twitter that he's directing episodes of the 'Star Wars' spin-off. In fact, he'll be working with fan-favourite Baby Yoda directly.

Rodriguez's list of credits include 'Desperado', 'From Dusk Till Dawn', 'Machete', 'Sin City' and 'Spy Kids'.

Peyton Reed also officially confirmed he's one of the directors on the show with the following tweet.

Reed previously worked with Marvel on 'Ant-Man' and 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'. He also helmed 'Yes Man' and 90s favourite 'Bring It On'.

The cast is shaping up nicely for season 2 as well. Michael Biehn of 'The Terminator' fame will be appearing in an as-yet-unspecified role while Rosario Dawson plays Ahsoka Tano.

Most importantly, as confirmed by Rodriguez, Baby Yoda is back.

'The Mandalorian' season 2 is set to arrive on Disney+ October 2020. Season 3 is also in the works.
