After questioning the "reality" of Netflix's reality TV show, Chrissy Teigan has felt the wrath of some of the show's stars.

After binging on 'Selling Sunset' Chrissy Teigan recently took to Twitter, calling into question whether the reality show based on real estate, really in fact, real. That's some form of tongue-twister.

In case you haven't already seen it, the property-based Netflix show sees top real estate brokers at The Oppenheim Group work as part of the number one agency for selling homes and apartments in the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip. It's all a bit glamorous, dramatic, and extremely addictive.

One such viewer who tweeted about the series is Chrissy Teigan, model and wife to John Legend. She took to the social media platform to ask if the likes of Chrishell Stause, Davina Potratz and Maya Vander, and Heather Rae Young really do exist.

First, she said the series wasn't as "insane" as Netflix has led us all to believe: "I don’t even think anyone on it is as mean or insane as you guys said? Maybe I’m just so used to it because I live here? This is pretty normal lol some are actually really nice."

She then asked whether it was all just one big lie concocted for television and if the real estate agents are in fact real: "I will say, I look at LA real estate a lot and have never seen any of these people lol either have our agents, who I have obsessively asked."

In response to Teigan's tweets on her opinion of 'Selling Sunset', Heather Rae Young and the rest of the cast have voiced their dismay.

Another star of the show, Maya Vander, recently spoke to E, where she admitted: "Oddly enough, I did sell a house on the same street where she and John Legend purchased a house a couple of months ago. If she ever wants to buy in Miami I’m here to help!"

Young also cemented her credibility in a recent interview on US TV by telling the presenter her response to the controversy: "My response to that is I have had my real estate license since 2014, I’ve been with The Oppenheim Group since 2015."

"Maybe because she doesn’t know us doesn’t mean we’re not real estate agents."
