Ryan Reynolds is set to make another movie with Netflix after the success of '6 Underground'.

The latest collaboration between the streaming service and Ryan Reynolds is an adaptation of classic video game 'Dragon's Lair'. The actor will play the lead.

Rick Dyer and Don Bluth created the franchise. It was famous for its animation-style graphics.

The game hit arcades in 1983 and spawned a short-lived TV series the year after.

The medieval adventure followed Dirk the Daring questing to rescue Princess Daphne from evil dragon Singe and nasty wizard Mordroc.

Bluth is a producer on the Netflix movie, alongside Reynolds. Roy Lee, Trevor Engelson, former Bluth collaborator John Pomeroy and Gary Goldman, who tried to get a 'Dragon's Lair' movie off the ground previously with Bluth, are the other producers.

Dan and Kevin Hageman are on scriptwriting duty. Their previous credits include 'Hotel Transylvania', 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark' and 'The Lego Movie'.

This will be the star of 'Deadpool's third feature for Netflix. After the Michael Bay-helmed '6 Underground', they began work on 'Red Notice'. However shooting in Italy has halted in current circumstances.
