Next, the streaming service turns its attention to the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy.

Bundy assaulted and murdered over thirty young women and girls, aged between 12 and 25, during the 1970s.

The Netflix series based on him launches in the new year.

Titled 'Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes', Emmy winner Joe Berlinger ('Paradise Lost') directs it.

The four part docuseries features previously unheard audio interviews with Bundy while he was on death row in Florida. It also details Bundy's killings and the media frenzy around his trials. The criminal inspired the adoration of numerous women, and for his in-court marriage to Carole Ann Boone, who testified on his behalf.

A narrative feature about Ted Bundy called 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile' is due for release next year.  Kaya Scodelario plays Boone in the film while Lily Collins and John Malkovich also star.

Zac Efron Ted Bundy Extremely Wicked Shockingly Vile and Wicked

Interestingly, Berlinger is actually the director of both the Zac Efron movie and the Netflix series.

'Conversations With a Killer' premieres on January 24th. The date marks 30 years since Bundy was executed for the 1978 murder of Kimberly Leach.
