Plenty more of Otis Milburn and his friends' sexual happenings are on the way, as Netflix announces a third season of the hit show is in the making.

Such a runaway success that an announcement wasn't necessary (but we 100% appreciate the reveal) it's still good to know that a third season of 'Sex Education' is on the way from the streaming giant.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, Netflix teased the returning of the series, saying: "Let’s talk about sex baby, let’s talk about season 3 (of 'Sex Education')."

Introduced by possibly the biggest antagonist in the series, we see Alistair Petrie (the bullish Mr. Groff) walking down a school hallway as he deconstructs each of the main cast's paintings which are hung on the wall. Analysing what each character symbolises in the story, he goes through the cast members, including Gillian Anderson's sex therapist Jean, who has a pomegranate planed in her picture frame - a typical sign of fertility.

Finishing up his scrutiny of the paintings, he leaves his on-screen son Adam (Connor Swindells) and Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) for last, saying: "I wonder what is in store for these two cherubs. Well, I suppose you'll have to find out in season three, won't you?"

No release date has been revealed from Netflix as of yet, but the series will likely be returning back onto our screens early in 2021 - which will be in line with the previous two seasons.
