'Mulan' will be available on Disney Plus from this Friday, September 4th. But those who want to watch it will need to pay the "premium access" fee of €21.99.
An new description for 'Mulan' on the Disney+ website reads that it will be available to all subscribers on December 4th, 2020.
Those with Premium Access to 'Mulan' can watch the movie as many times as you like.
The Premium Access offer is only available until November 2nd. It's unclear what that means for those who want to purchase the movie between November 2nd and December 4th.
It's a short window with there being just three months between the film’s initial release and when it becomes available to general subscribers.
The decision to put the film on the streaming platform was made back in August.
It's an experimental move for the House of Mouse. They haven't announced plans to put any other big upcoming releases - such as 'Black Widow' - on the streaming service.
The movie will be released in cinemas in territories where Disney+ isn't available. Countries like China, where the film is expected to bring big box office receipts, will get the film theatrically.
As for us here in Ireland, those who want to see 'Mulan' can either pay €21.99 for access from tomorrow, or wait three months for it to be free.
