The "sistaaaaaas" are expected to make a return if Disney+ have anything to do with the 'Hocus Pocus' sequel they have in the pipeline. Although yet to be 100% confirmed, don't be surprised if all three original witches make a triumphant arrival back to Salem.

Disney+ is steamrolling ahead with their latest movie to get the sequel/reboot treatment, because every '80s and '90s child's favourite Halloween movie about to get a follow-up. Disney's new online streamer, which launches in Ireland on March 24th, is planing on making 'Hocus Pocus 2' - if they can get the original cast members to return.

Already attached to the project is 'Hairspray' director Adam Shankman, who has been lined up to helm the Disney sequel. Jen D’Angelo, producer and writer of TV series 'Workaholics' is also attached to the project. However, the big question is - will Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy take another trip back to Salem? Of course they will. Well, maybe.

While all three have yet to confirm a deal with the Walt Disney studio, their involvement is highly likely. The three actresses have expressed interest in the past, and if Disney can manage to get Rick Moranis out of retirement for a 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' reboot, then the studio can do anything. (Hint: lots and lots of money should do the trick).

Director Shankman is currently busy working on Disney’s 'Disenchanted' movie, which is a sequel to Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey's original 'Enchanted'. Once he finishes up this project, we expect him to focus all of his attention on perfecting 'Hocus Pocus 2'.

Now, please enjoy one of the highlights of the original movie, where Bette Midler and her "sistas" serenade the Halloween party with 'I Put A Spell On You'.
