Hit Netflix horror series 'The Haunting of Hill House' is coming back for another round this year.
Season two will be titled 'The Haunting of Bly Manor', following a completely new story and characters.
While producers have kept tight-lipped, we know a few things about it so far.
We know director Mike Flanagan, who directed 'The Shining' sequel 'Doctor Sleep' in the interim, is back at the helm.
We also know numerous of the stars of 'Hill House' will be in the cast, such as Victoria Pedretti (also known for playing Love in season two of 'You'), Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
Plus it has been revealed that the new series is based on Henry James' 'The Turning of the Screw'. Interestingly, the horror novella also got a big screen treatment of late in the film 'The Turning'.
While Pedretti will play the governess, Dani, Jackson-Cohen will portray "a charming fellow" named Peter.
We interviewed the latter for his latest feature 'The Invisible Man' and got just a tiny hint of what to expect.
"It's going to be great," he said. "Mike does this thing which is why I think he's such a genius when it comes to horror is that he's telling stories with heart and he makes you care about these characters.
"He's interested in the complexities of human dynamics and that's very much what 'Haunting of Bly Manor' is again. So I'm really, really excited for people to see it."
Reflecting on his performance in 'Hill House', the actor noted: "So much of Luke Crain is me. And so there was something really quite freeing about being able to go to work and be that vulnerable. Without sounding trite, I do feel quite vulnerable a lot of the time, and I think it's weird for men to admit that, but I do.
"And so being able to play someone that was that pained and I didn't have to hide it was a really kind of freeing experience, and one that I will never forget because there was so much of that. And Mike was incredible at giving me such free rein to add in everything and bring everything that I needed to him so I feel very, very thankful for that."
'The Haunting of Bly Manor' arrives on Netflix later this year.
