Bill Burr played Mayfield across seasons one and two of 'The Mandalorian' to, for the most part, high acclaim. For some, it was something of a surreal experience seeing the renowned stand-up comedian in a 'Star Wars' series. But for the most part, he pulled it off.

Mind you, some fans like to nitpick, and there was a little criticism on how Bill Burr incorporated into his performance his natural (and very strong) Bostonian accent.

Jimmy Fallon recently inquired Burr about it on his talk show, and 'The King of Staten Island' star had the perfect response.

"I know, that's hilarious," he said. "I've never heard a Boston accent in outer space, is what they say. I just go 'Oh yeah? What about English?' Wouldn't that be a little weird if you went to a galaxy far far away, and you get off and somebody's like 'Hey, how's it going?' And you can totally understand them?

"What about the fact that Han Solo's talking to a Bigfoot? He's speaking Bigfoot, Han Solo's speaking English, they never break character... And that was all fine.

"How about C-3PO with an English accent? That was OK? The guy'd been knighted... and now he's hanging out with, I almost said Leonard Skynyrd, Luke Skywalker? Eff those nitpicking nerds."

In fairness, it's a pretty funny interview overall. Watch it in full here.
