A new comedy series is coming to Netflix at the end of this month. It's called 'Space Force' and it's (don't say it, don't say it) out of this world.

'Space Force' is created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels (known for his work on 'The Office' and 'Parks and Rec'). It stars the former in the lead role.

Carell plays a four-star general and decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force. Instead he is tasked with leading the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force.

Sceptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado. There, he and an eccentric team of scientists and “Spacemen” work together to get a manned mission to the moon (again) to establish total space dominance for the USA.

The show is being described as "a new kind of workplace comedy" and it's got quite a supporting cast. It includes John Malkovich, Lisa Kudrow, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, and Ben Schwartz. Jimmy O. Yang, Alex Sparrow and Don Lake also star.

Here's the teaser trailer.

'Space Force' lands on Netflix on May 29.
