As with many series, the shoot for season 3 of 'Sex Education' hit pause in recent months. However it looks like production is back on track.

Netflix and 'Sex Education' producer Eleven previously expressed hopes that filming would resume in August, reports Deadline.

Eleven’s new parent company Sony Pictures Television has since revealed that it looks all set to get the green light then.

Season 3 had initially began filming in Wales in May before being forced into a hiatus.

It is the latest the shoot can resume as the series is typically shot in summer to get the sunshine.

Producers are making preparations and drawing up safety protocols for filming.

It's not the only Netflix series resuming production next month as 'The Witcher' season 2 will be doing likewise.

A number of movie productions have either started or will start filming again soon.

These include the 'Avatar' sequels, 'Mission: Impossible 7' and its follow-up, as well as 'Jurassic World: Dominion.'

The first two seasons of 'Sex Education' are streaming on Netflix now.
