Fans of He-Man, Skeletor, and everything else associated with 'Masters of the Universe' have a kick-ass new TV animation to look forward to.

Netflix has released its first look at the upcoming 'Masters of the Universe: Revelation' series - and it looks pretty damn awesome.

Kevin Smith of 'Clerks' and 'Mallrats' fame serves as the creator, writer, and executive producer on the series, which is originally based on the Mattel toy line as well as the '80s movie, comic book, and animated TV series.

The first series will be split into two parts, with the first five episodes releasing next month. This is the first Netflix series based on the fantasy, with a more child-friendly CGI production expected at a later date.

What's more, there is a crazily exciting voice cast lined up for this series. Mark Hamill has lent his voice to Skeletor, and he'll be joined by Lena Headey, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Liam Cunningham, Alicia Silverstone, Chris Wood, Henry Rollins, Stephen Root, Justin Long, and Kevin Conroy.

Here's the official synopsis attached to the series:

The war for Eternia culminates in 'Masters of the Universe: Revelation', an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.
