Following the success of 'Wandavision' and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier', 'Loki' is the next Marvel series that's coming to Disney Plus.

It has now been revealed that 'Loki' will arrive on the streaming service two days than originally planned.

That isn't a huge change, we know, but anything to make the wait shorter!

Moreover, it means, as stated in the announcement about the new date, that "Wednesdays are the new Fridays."

In other words, 'Loki' will now air new episodes mid-week rather than on Fridays, like previous Marvel series. (We reckon this is so Disney can avoid competition from Netflix and other streaming service or terrestrial TV premieres)

Tom Hiddleston, who plays the trickster god and brother of Thor, shared the news via Youtube.

The premiere date of 'Loki' date was originally Friday June 11th, but will now be Wednesday June 9th (which is just under five weeks away!).

'Loki' takes place after the events of 'Avengers: Endgame' which saw the titular character escape with the tesseract. Now he'll be forced to work with the Time Variance Authority to restore the timelines he has disrupted.

Alongside Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E Grant also star in the show.
