The 'Pursuit of Happiness' rapper Kid Cudi has got his own animated series 'Entergalactic' in the pipeline with a surprisingly varied and well-known cast of voice actors.

Details of the project produced by Cudi and Ian Edelman have been released this week at the Netflix event 'Geeked Week' according to Variety and it sounds like it's going to be pretty decent, especially if the trailer and lineup of voice actors are anything to go by.

In the first look trailer for 'Entergalactic', we're invited into the world of the characters that whirls by in a kaleidoscope of LED lights of clubs, streetlights at night in a city that looks like it never sleeps, and the soft daylight in a bright apartment.

Initially we meet Cudi's character, Jabari the young artist and his love interest to be, his new neighbor Meadow — a photographer voiced by Jessica Williams. The pair amble around what looks like New York city and spin around arm in arm in the middle of a dance floor.

Within the trailer, Cudi name-drops an eclectic bunch of celebrities that are set to feature as voice actors on the show. Appearing on a spacey, galactic backdrop, the names are listed: Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Laura Harrier, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, Arturo Castro and Macaulay Culkin.

The series will feature music from the rapper himself along with Plain Pat and Dot da Genius. Cudi will also release an album of the same name, so it's safe to say his creative juices seem to be flowing. We don't know about you, but we're buzzing for this one. Keep your eyes peeled for the release date.
