If you've been watching 'Tiger King', Netflix's latest docuseries, odds are you've probably thought to yourself that it's just too crazy for reality.

The demented story of a rivalry between two eccentric big cat lovers, Joe Schreibvogel and Carole Baskin, has caught the attention of just about everyone who's seen it or heard about the story. Case in point, a limited series based on the story is now in development with 'SNL' star Kate McKinnon set to play Carole Baskin.

'Joe Exotic' will tell the story laid out in 'Tiger King', with interest in the series now skyrocketing due to the success of the series and the podcast 'Over My Dead Body', which had an entire season dedicated to the story.

Right now, no air date has been set for the series and no further casting beyond McKinnon as Carole Baskin has been announced. Right away, we're going to suggest Danny McBride from 'Eastbound and Down' as Joe Exotic, simply because we already know he can pull off the facial hair.

If you dyed his hair right, you could probably get somebody like Stephen Root to play John Reinke, and maybe Jon Hamm to play Howard Baskin.

Either way, whoever does it, they're going to have a lot of work to do in making it seem convincing and as entertaining as the docuseries.

'Tiger King' is available on Netflix now.
