There are a number of familiar faces joining the cast for the upcoming road trip across the States.

The 'Hacks' season two trailer has dropped, further confirming our adoration for the Jean Smart-led comedy series.

The multi-award-winning series returns to HBO Max this May with eight new episodes which will see the legendary comic Deborah Vance finally hit the road and leave the dizzying heights of Las Vegas behind her on a tour of the US.

Of course, Hannah Einbinder as Ava Daniels will be in tow, hoping to add some much-needed pizzazz to Deborah's comedy material which she heavily relies on for her old school comedy routines (while also attempting to find some fridge space for her kombucha).

Deborah's personal assistant Damien (Mark Indelicato) will also join in on the road trip, with Carl Clemons-Hopkins's Marcus and Paul W. Downs' Jimmy accompanying them on their wild trip across state borders.

Kaitlin Olson, Poppy Liu, Megan Stalter, Jonathan Sibilly and Rose Abdoo will all return for the next installment, but there are also a number of faces joining the ranks as guest stars. The cast list of 'Hacks' season two has expanded to include Laurie Metcalf ('Lady Bird', 'Malcolm In The Middle'), Martha Kelly ('Euphoria'), Ming-Na Wen ('The Book Of Boba Fett'), Susie Essman ('Curb Your Enthusiasm') and Margaret Cho ('Drop Dead Diva').

entertainment.ie has reached out to Prime Video to confirm when season two will hit the streaming service - we'll update the article should we receive confirmation. The ten-episode season one launched earlier this month. *UPDATE* The series will hit Prime Video this summer.
