Since their announcement, the run of Marvel TV shows on Disney+ have had people eager to see just how they'd turn out.

After all, 'Avengers: Endgame' more or less neatly wrapped up the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the time being, so the question now is where things go after all of that. 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' is set to be the first out of the gates, but a rumoured premiere date of August has now been pushed back.

Disney+ released their slate for next month and, no surprises, 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' isn't on the list. The show was previously filming in Atlanta and Prague when production shut down due to lockdown measures. Since then, production has yet to resume.

It's not all bad news, however. Season 2 of 'The Mandalorian' is still on track for an October premiere, and other Marvel shows like 'WandaVision' and 'Loki' appear to be set for December and early 2021 releases respectively.

'Falcon and Winter Soldier' takes place directly after the finale of 'Avengers: Endgame', and sees Falcon - played by Anthony Mackie - picking up Captain America's shield and continuing the fight against global threats. Daniel Bruhl, who starred in 'Captain America: Civil War', returns as Baron Zemo while Wyatt Russell - yes, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son - is set to play John Walker, also known as US Agent, a heavily militarised successor to Captain America.

Disney+ has not yet released any information on when 'The Falcon and Winter Soldier' will arrive on screens.
