The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney docuseries is just one title to get a new release date.

In case you thought it was just Marvel and Star Wars releases on the platform this summer - think again. A number of FX, National Geographic, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures were given Disney+ releases this week, including the highly-anticipated 'Welcome to Wrexham' docuseries.

The fly-on-the-wall series will follow Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they make their dreams (and people of Wrexham's) come true as the two Hollywood stars take ownership of the Welsh town’s historic yet struggling football club. The series begins on August 25.

Other titles heading our way this summer include 20th Century Studios 'The Princess' on July 1; 'Solar Opposites' season three on July 13; Searchlight Pictures' 'Not Okay' starring Zoey Deutch on July 29; and 20th Century Studios' 'Prey', an all-new entry in the 'Predator' franchise, set for release on August 5.

The rest of the year looks jam-packed with other Disney+ releases on the horizon, including drama series 'The Old Man' with Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow; 'Fleishman is in Trouble' with Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan, Claire Danes and Adam Brody; and also 'The Patient' starring Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson.

A brand new adult animation series 'Little Demon' is also set for release in the coming months, with Aubrey Plaza and Danny DeVito lending their voices to a series billed as a hilarious comedy about a woman named Laura who gets impregnated by Satan and has to deal with the consequences of living with an Antichrist daughter. We wouldn't expect anything less from the OG devil-worshipper herself.

For National Geographic fans, upcoming releases include 'Limitless with Chris Hemsworth' as the actor attempts to discover the full potential of the human body; 'Dance the World with Derek Hough'; 'Extraordinary Birder'; 'Farming is Life'; and new docuseries 'Science Fair: The Series', based on the Sundance Festival favourite and SXSW Audience Award-winning documentary from 2018.

Seven UK Original series have been given Disney+ release dates for the future, including docuseries 'Save Our Squad' starring David Beckham as he mentors a struggling young grassroots football side; romantic thriller 'Wedding Season'; 'Extraordinary', a new comedy from the makers of 'Killing Eve'; a new swashbuckling action and adventure series 'The Ballad of Renegade Nell'; 'Culprits' series with Niamh Algar, Gemma Arterton and Eddie Izzard; and 'Nautilus', an action/adventure starring Richard E. Grant. 'The Full Monty' will also return as a brand-new limited series almost twenty-five years on.

There are loads more on the way too, with the film 'Rosaline', a fresh comedic twist on Shakespeare’s 'Romeo & Juliet' starring Kaitlyn Dever; 'Mike', from the team behind 'I, Tonya', a new limited series which will tell the story of the life of boxing legend Mike Tyson, starring Trevante Rhodes; the romantic comedy series 'Maggie' starring Rebecca Rittenhouse; plus 'Welcome to Chippendales', an eight-episode limited series starring Kumail Nanjiani.

Catch all of these titles on Disney+ in the coming months.
