All the new Christmas content you can look forward to on Netflix this year

Whether you like it or not, these days, from the start of November, it's Christmas time. (Mariah Carey even said so)

Christmas on Netflix is set to be a big one since the streaming service knows how mad people are for the holidays. Thus they've got a whole bunch of brand new seasonal movies and series for its viewers.

The following have either just dropped on the streaming service or are becoming available in the coming weeks. So pop these in your calendar now, because festive flicks aren't just dropping by the week on Netflix - they're dropping by the day!

 

Holidate - available now

Sloane (Emma Roberts) and Jackson (Luke Bracey) hate the holidays. Thus they make a pact to be each other’s “holidate” for every festive occasion throughout the next year. With a mutual disdain for the holidays, and assuring themselves that they have no romantic interest in the other, they make the perfect team. However, as a year of absurd celebrations come to an end, Sloane and Jackson find that sharing everything they hate may just prove to be something they unexpectedly love.

 

The Grinch - available now

'The Grinch' tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl's generous holiday spirit. Funny, heartwarming, and visually stunning, it's a universal story about the spirit of Christmas and the indomitable power of optimism.

 

Christmas Land - available now

After inheriting a Christmas tree farm, a woman's plans to sell it change when she falls in love with the townspeople and meets a charming lawyer named Tucker. Yes, it is a Hallmark movie, and you can expect quite a few this Christmas on Netflix.

 

Christmas Wonderland - available now

Heidi (Emily Osment), who initially left her small town of Pleasant Valley with the dream of one day becoming a successful painter, has put her own art on hold to excel as an art gallery curator. Now, a week before the gallery's big Christmas party, she must return home to watch her niece and nephew. She comes face to face with her high school love, Chris, now a teacher, who is in over his head after he must find a new last-minute location for the Christmas dance. Heidi offers to help him and together they discover a beautiful place for the dance, perfectly capturing the Christmas spirit, called Wonderland Farms.

 

Christmas Made to Order - available now

When an architect finds himself hosting his family for Christmas, he turns to a holiday coordinator for help. Her expert Christmas spirit brings his family together, but neither expected it to bring them closer to each other.

 

Christmas Break-In - available now

Izzy is an energetic 9-year-old. Overscheduled and running late, her parents can't pick her up on time on the last day of school before Christmas break. A blizzard complicates the matter, but not as much so as a pair of bad guys who are freezing in an ice cream truck. The school janitor is kidnapped by them, and it's up to Izzy to save the day.

 

A Perfect Christmas List - available now

As a last wish, a recently hospitalized grandmother, Evie, tasks her daughter and granddaughter, Sara, with a list of festive accomplishments to do together before Christmas, hoping that the adventure of the experience will repair their relationship. Along the way, Sara discovers an unlisted Christmas adventure of her own.

 

Operation Christmas Drop - 5 November

A by-the-book political aide falls for a big-hearted Air Force pilot while looking to shut down his tropical base and its airborne Christmas tradition. It's one of many original films from the streaming service you can expect this Christmas on Netflix.

 

Dash & Lily - 10 November

Opposites attract at Christmas as cynical Dash and sunny Lily trade messages and dares in a red notebook they pass back and forth around New York City. Sure Christmas on Netflix wouldn't be complete without some YA romance.

 

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey - 13 November
