Halloween has just ended and - as announced by Mariah Carey - that means it's officially Christmas season. And with the season comes Christmas movies, sure to raise your spirits and give you that warm, fuzzy feeling.

It'll be a few weeks yet before Christmas movies become a mainstay on the telly.

But the good news is that Netflix has you covered if you want your share of festive flicks, right now.

All through November, the streaming service will be debuting titles both original and classical.

Plus there are loads of Christmas movies you can watch on Netflix right now.

Here are some of our festive favourites now available:

'The Princess Switch'

The first 'The Princess Switch' movie debuted on Netflix back in 2018. It saw a baker named Stacy De Novo (Vanessa Hudgens) and Lady Margaret Delacourt, Duchess of Montenaro (Hudgens), switch lives for a couple of days upon discovering they look identical. You can also check out the sequel, 'The Princess Switch: Switched Again', on Netflix now.

'The Holiday'

The modern Christmas classic that is 'The Holiday' stars Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet as two women unlucky in love who swap homes and lifestyles for the Christmas season. Jude Law and Jack Black are the film's leading men. If you like your Christmas movies cheesy, funny and packed with feel-good factor, 'The Holiday' is essential viewing.

'The Christmas Chronicles'

Kurt Russell playing a grumpy, cynical, yet charming Santa? Sign us up. The movie follows a brother and sister trying to catch Saint Nick on camera, but after different turns of events, they end up on an incredible adventure. Make for a double bill with 'The Christmas Chronicles 2', in which Goldie Hawn joins Russell as Mrs. Claus. Delightful.

'Klaus'

A spoiled and lazy student of a postal academy, Jesper (Jason Schwartzman), is sent to work at a frozen island above the Arctic Circle called Smeerensburg. Jesper has to deliver 6000 letters there before he can return home. A recluse on the island named Klaus (J.K. Simmons) who sends toys to children who write letters to him, may be Jesper's ticket out. This sweet, funny and tender movie is perfect for the whole family to watch together.

'Let It Snow'

Based on the young adult novel of the same name, 'Let It Snow' has strong 'Love Actually' vibes from the get-go. Its various storylines follow high school students who are interconnected by love, as friends or as co-workers. A snowstorm ends up impacting all their lives when it hits their small mid-western town.

'Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey'

Transporting us to the town of Cobbleton, 'Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey' follows the story of one inventor, Jeronicus Jangle (Forest Whitaker). Beginning from when he was a young and successful toy-maker, his storyline turns from magical to one of heartbreak, before an uplifting finale. This musical adventure has strong 'The Greatest Showman' vibes.

'Holiday in the Wild'

Kate (Kristin Davis) embarks on a trip to Zambia, Africa, and what starts as a holiday soon turns into an extended stay. Kate falls in love with the country and the elephant reserve that she becomes a volunteer at. There's also romance in the air as she befriends local pilot Derek (Rob Lowe). It's cheesy but sweet, and the elephants are the stars of the show.

'A Christmas Prince'

The first 'A Christmas Prince' sees aspiring journalist Amber manage to sneak into employment at the palace under the guise of being a tutor for Princess Emily. There, she and Prince Richard fall in love, but how can they ever be together? 'A Christmas Prince' has two follow-ups as well, so you can watch the trilogy of Christmas movies on Netflix now.

'Last Christmas'

Kate (Emilia Clarke) has grown cynical and disconnected. By day she works as an assistant dressed as an elf at a year-round Christmas store owned by "Santa" (Michelle Yeoh), then she eats fast food, drinks heavily, and spends every night with a different guy. By chance, she meets Tom (Henry Golding) outside the store one day and he shows her a different way of living.

'Nativity!'

Martin Freeman plays a teacher who once wanted to be an actor, producer or director. He gets the chance to (somewhat) follow his dream when the primary school he works at puts on an nativity play with a difference. The sequel starring David Tennant 'Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger', is also on Netflix if you feel like more.

'Angela's Christmas'

An Irish Christmas short film, 'Angela's Christmas' is it's only 30 minutes long and just lovely for both kids and grown-ups. Based on a story by Frank McCourt ('Angela's Ashes'), it relates how our young heroine is struck by an astounding idea following a trip to the church on Christmas Eve. A sequel titled 'Angela's Christmas Wish' is also on Netflix now.

'The Knight Before Christmas'

Sir Cole Christopher Frederick Lyons (Josh Whitehouse) is a dashing young knight from medieval times. Brooke (Vanessa Hudgens) is a high school science teacher in the 21st century. When Sir Cole is magically transported forward in time, their worlds collide. But how could two people from such different worlds ever get on? And having only mended her broken heart, could Brooke open up to the chance of love again?

'Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square'

After returning to her hometown to attend her father's funeral, Regina (Christine Baranski) announces her intention to sell the town to a land developer. The townsfolk are appalled. But an angel (played by none other than Dolly Parton herself) visits Regina to show her the error of her ways. Moreover, getting to know the locals also causes Regina to have a change of heart.

'Just Friends'

This 2005 Christmas rom-com sees Ryan Reynolds play a formerly overweight dork who returns to his hometown for the holidays a hit record producer. He tries to start a relationship with his BFF and crush (Amy Smart) who has always considered him just a friend. Will he ever be able to convince her otherwise?

'Office Christmas Party'

When a CEO threatens drastic action to improve the financial performance of the Chicago branch of her company, the affected manager - who is also her brother - throws an epic festive party to impress a client and close a potential sale which would save jobs. The ensemble comedy stars Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, and Olivia Munn.

'Love Hard'

There's no shortage of Christmas romantic comedies when it comes to Netflix. This latest follows an LA girl, unlucky in love, who falls for an East Coast guy on a dating app, only to discover that she's been catfished.

'Father Christmas is Back'

Gotta love those Christmas movies that get the family together, right? In this one, four sisters re-unite in a Yorkshire mansion as a long-buried secret bubbles to the surface.

'Love Actually'

As Hugh Grant says in the film, 'Love Actually' is all around us, and at Christmas time, the movie really is everywhere you look. Including Netflix.

'Jack Frost'

Michael Keaton plays a singer who loses his life following a car accident, but comes back to life as a snowman to spend one final day with his son. Tear-jerking stuff.

'Little Women'

The Greta Gerwig-directed drama starring Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Laura Dern, Timothee Chalamet and Meryl Streep is now streaming on Netflix. An absolutely precious movie.

'A Castle for Christmas'

Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes play an American author and a grumpy duke whose worlds collide in Scotland. Could there be love among their fractious exchanges?
