'BRZRKR', a comic for which Keanu Reeves created the concept and story, is being adapted into both a feature film and an anime spin-off series at Netflix.

Better still, Reeves has signed on to both star in and produce the 'BRZRKR' adaptations.

The 'Matrix' star collaborated with Matt Kindt, ('Folklords', 'Justice League of America') and artist Ron Garney on the comic.

After generating a lot of buzz, it launched just two weeks ago.

The comic had a huge debut for an indie publisher, selling over 615k copies.

Boom! Studios published it and they've signed on as producers for the Netflix projects.

According to Netflix and Boom!, 'BRZRKR' is a "brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000 year fight through the ages.

"The man known only as "B" is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence… even at the sacrifice of his sanity.

"But after wandering the earth for centuries, B may have finally found a refuge – working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else.

"In exchange, B will be granted the one thing he desires – the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence…and how to end it."

The comic will run for 12 weeks altogether.

Its anime spin-off will explore different elements of the 'BRZRKR' world.

Reeves is certainly keeping himself busy between this project and highly anticipated sequels 'John Wick 4' and 'The Matrix 4' arriving later (fingers crossed) this year.
