We haven't had a zombie movie in quite some time, so we're actually quite excited about this new Netflix action flick.

2021 feels like the perfect time to chill out and watch hordes of zombies get blasted to bits. Coming from the director of 'Man of Steel' and '300' will be the arrival of Zack Snyder's follow-up to his early-2000s movie 'Dawn of the Dead'.

This time, the action is moving to the dazzling lights of Las Vegas. As you can see from the trailer below, we're going to get a much more glamorous version of the 2004 action thriller, with undead zombie hen parties and multiple Elvis' likely to be the gags of the day. That, and everything else going on in the trailer.

The crew heading up the action this time includes Dave Bautista ('Guardians of the Galaxy'), Ella Purnell ('Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'), Ana de la Reguera ('Power'), Hiroyuki Sanada ('The Wolverine').

They will star as a group of mercenaries who take the ultimate gamble against this zombie horde and venture into the quarantine zone in order to get rid of every last one of them.

Here's the one minute teaser trailer for the zombie movie.

'Army of the Dead' will be available to stream on Netflix on May 21.
