The renowned veteran broadcaster and naturalist returns to narrate the second series of Blue Planet, after the award-winning series debuted back in 2001.
The soundtrack for the new nature series is composed by the legendary Hans Zimmer – and you get a hint of the amazing music instore from the clip below. Zimmer collaborated with Radiohead on the music which involves a reworking of the track ‘Bloom’ from the band’s 2011 album The King of Limbs.
Blue Planet II – which comes fresh off the success of Planet Earth II, released to major acclaim last year – took four years to make, a result of 125 expeditions with filming across every ocean.
It arrives on BBC One later this year.
