"You're in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying."
We'd heard this line uttered by Tyrion Lannister in a teaser trailer prior to the start of season 6 of Game of Thrones and now as we prepare for the season finale (how the hell is this season over ALREADY?!) we know who he delivers the line to - Daenerys.
'The Battle of the Basterds' delivered the meeting of Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton on the battlefield that we'd been expecting but we also got plenty of action from Mereen where a reunited Daenerys and Tyrion dealt with the masters of slavers bay with fiery vengeance. They also found time to make an alliance with the Greyjoys which surely means we're finally going to get to see Daenerys make her move on Westeros?
Of course there's a lot more action in store for us with Cersei, Sansa, Bran and Ser Davos all set to play their part in what should be an epic conclusion to an epic season of Game of Thrones.
