It'll be a star-filled couch for The Graham Norton Show’s New Year’s Eve Special with guests including Marion Cotillard, Michael Fassbender and James MacAvoy.

But the biggest hit of them all looks like it's going to be our lads, the O’Donovan brothers, Gary and Paul from Skibbereen, silver medalists and Olympic champions.

After a moment of awkwardness with Marion (the French beat the Irish in the rowing – boo!), the lads launched into a great chat with host Graham Norton and the other guests about their medals, nights out on the town, and not realising how funny they are.

Between Norton, the O’Donovans and Fassbender, it was a particularly Irish show (with an eclectic mix of accents, as is pointed out) as well.

The show was pre-recorded so this is only a taste of what to expect.

You can catch the the full Graham Norton Show New Year's Eve Special on December 31 at 10.25pm on BBC One. The brothers will also be the subject of documentary Pull Like a Dog, which airs tonight.
