In the midst of all the Lady Gaga and movie trailer madness, Netflix surprised us all by dropping a first look at the next installment of 'Stranger Things' into the Super Bowl and also announced when the show will be coming back.
Per Netflix: "A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins."
We don't get much from the brief teaser but we do get confirmation that Eleven is back and that something weird is definitely going down in the Hawkins, and not just for the boys this time.
EW meanwhile got an exclusive from co-creator Matt Duffer, who explained: "In season 1, Will is in danger. And season 2, it’s the town. The stakes escalate in that way."
Hold on to your butts and your Eggos, everybody.
'Stranger Things' season two debuts on Netflix this Halloween.
