This week on the Meaning of Life, Gay Byrne sits down with Stephen Fry to chat about everything and anything, and it's sure to make some great television.
The show in full will look at Fry's career so far, his early work with Hugh Laurie, his love of Oscar Wilde and his recent marriage, but perhaps the most powerful piece will be the section where he discusses with Byrne his beliefs as an atheist.
The former Late Late Show host asks Fry to imagine a hypothetical situation where he arrives at the pearly gates and is confronted by the all powerful being, and what he would say. The resulting few minutes make for some pretty fantastic television.
The full program will air this Sunday, February 1st, at 10.30pm on RTÉ One and is not to be missed, judging by this.
