Well, it was only a matter of time before someone did it wasn't it? Law and Order SVU have made an episode that's loosely (ie pretty much entirely) based on Chris Brown and Rihanna's torrid love life and THAT night before the Grammys. Though, of course, the network says the whole thing is fictional...
Dubbed 'Funny Valentine' the episode blurb says it's the tale of a promising singer, who is brutally attacked by her boyfriend, a popular hip hop star. The ADA is working to build up a case, but it seems the victim doesn't want to work with the prosecution. Detective Benson (you go Mariska Hargitay) does her best but the young wan keeps putting herself in danger.
Apparently the whole story spirals into a media circus, which is whipped up in no small part by the defendant and his uncompromising attorney. Perez Hilton, Dave Navarro and Wendy Williams even guest star. Check out the promo for the episode below - we're sure it'll be winging its way to our screens eventually, because there's a Law and Order SVU double bill of a Thursday evening on TV3 don'cha know?
