Well, we use the term celeb loosely, but how and ever, the first star to strut their stuff on RTE's dance floor in January has reportedly been announced.
Although RTE have yet to give official confirmation, according to The Irish Sun, Big Brother 2016's runner up Hughie Maughan will be taking part in the first ever Irish series of Dancing with the Stars.
A source said; "Doing Big Brother in the UK allowed Hughie to break down prejudice against Travellers and gay people in Britain. Appearing on Dancing With The Stars on RTÉ will help him do the same in Ireland. But Hughie wants to win."
Hughie's fiance and fellow Big Brother housemate Ryan Ruckledge hinted at the news a few weeks back on Twitter...
So proud of my @hughie_maughan and what he has lined up for the future, couldn't be anymore prouder if I tried, love you so much ♥ï¸ÂÂ?♥ï¸ÂÂ?

No one else has been announced as of yet, but as the show kicks off in less than two months, we'd imagine there are more names to come in the future. Hopefully it will be some of this lot.
Dancing with the Stars starts January 8th on RTÉ One.
