All the bright and beautiful stars crawled out of your television and into London's O2 Arena for a celebration of all that's great and good on the box at the National Television Awards.

They may have been freezing but that didn't stop 'em flashing the flesh (or, in Nicole Scherzinger's case, carefully placed nipple pasties) and a fair few smiles on the red carpet (which we'll have live shortly) before heading in to get down to the real business: wittling the list of nominees down to a batch of winners. Who got lucky? Mostly ITV. We've got the full list of winners for you right here, and a little bit of opinion thrown in for good measure...

Entertainment Programme
I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Ashley Roberts must have enjoyed that, what with Nicole Scherzinger being in the crowd.

Documentary Series
Frozen Planet

Comedy Panel Show
QI

Drama Performance (Male)
Colin Morgan - Merlin
Bit of a shock this one, everyone thought either Matt Smith or Benedict Cumberbatch would nab it.

Drama Performance (Female)
Miranda Hart - Call The Midwife

Daytime
This Morning
Phillip Schofield came across with rather a raunchy acceptance speech involving "getting up to" and "with" Holly Willoughby every morning.

Landmark
London 2012 - Lord Sebastian Coe, David Weir, Chris Hoy

Serial Drama Performance
Alan Halsall - Coronation Street.
That's Tyrone Dobbs, in case you've not gone to the bother of making yourselves familiar with each cast memeber's real name. Was he deserving? Not really, he's one step up on the acting rung from the bloke who 'plays' Kirk.

Entertainment Presenter
Ant & Dec
For the twelfth year running so less. They couldn't be arsed turning up this year (they're filming Britain's Got Talent, which was a novel way for Cowell to get a plug in), so they were presented their award via video link by (what I initially thought was a cardboard cut out of, drumroll) Simon Cowell.

Factual Entertainment
Paul O’Grady: For The Love Of Dogs
Paul was surprised by the win, saying it wasn't like work, just "bliss" to be there.

Newcomer
David Witts - EastEnders
That would be the rather hunky and surprisingly posh Joey Branning. Ever the gentleman, he was sure to scold the crowd when they booed the mere mention of his girlfriend. He said "You can't boo her, she's beautiful." Hence the booing, David.

Situation Comedy
Mrs Brown’s Boys
Still don't get it. Doubt we ever will. It's still clearly tickling the English.

Drama
Downton Abbey

Talent Show
Strictly Come Dancing

Special Recognition
Joanna Lumley

Serial Drama
Coronation Street
Many were outraged. We weren't - largely because EastEnders never makes us laugh. It's just a load of hair extensions being pulled out over the lack of menfolk. Still think Emmerdale needs to win summat at some point, poor consistently overlooked feckers.

>The National Television Awards: Kimberley Walsh probably wants to Fly Away after that performance.

>The National Television Awards: Dermot O'Leary's dance FAIL is strictly hilarious.
