Good news for fans of the US version of The Killing! Seems you'll be able to watch the new season within a week of it's premiere Stateside thanks to Netflix! Yup, Netflix UK and Ireland has just penned a deal with Fox Television Studios that will see every single episode of Season 3 available for live streaming just a week after it appears on telly in the US of A.
So, you won't be waiting too long to see what homicide detective Sarah Linden is up to next. Last time we saw her she had just closed the Rosie Larsen case, but sure when are things ever that simple eh lads? There's a new mystery to be solved now. as the search for a runaway girl leads her ex-partner Holder to discover a string of gruesome murders. As you do. And if you want to remind yourself of the story so far, Netflix will have all of Season 2 available online from May 2nd.
"We're excited to offer our members each new episode of Season 3 of The Killing within a week of its U.S. premiere on television," said Ted Sarandos, Netflix's Chief Content Officer. "The Killing is a terrific serial drama and we know our members love these high-quality programmes." And love it we do, especially now that Peter Sarsgaard has signed up to star as a rather disturbed jail bird.
The Killing returns to US TV screens in May.
