Charlie Sheen's new opus, Anger Management has nose-dived in the ratings in its second week.

The series debuted on cable network 'FX' last week to record numbers, pulling in a mammoth 5.47 million viewers - huge for a cable station. In its second week it has dropped to 3.37 million, which is still a solid number. FX have spent a lot of money on the show, though, and will be expecting big things; there's apparently a clause for a 90 episode order in there, meaning they'd get stuck with an underperforming series if things didn't go according to plan.

The show is loosely based on the Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson comedy from a few years back and stars Sheen as a former baseball player, sentenced to anger management counselling with an aggressive instructor.

According to Deadline.com, The network made a 10-episode initial order. If the show hits certain ratings targets, "FX will make a 90-episode renewal that takes Anger Management to broadcast syndication levels."
