Clayne Crawford, one of the stars of Lethal Weapon's TV adaptation, has been fired from the series after a number of incidents on the set.

Per a report by THR, Crawford had two blow-ups on set which contributed to the situation, which ended with Crawford being let go. Crawford played Martin Riggs, originally played by Mel Gibson in the original movies, and was previously best known for his role in 2002's A Walk To Remember.

In his statement, Crawford said that he would "would never intentionally jeopardize so many jobs," and added that he was "incredibly sorry if my passion for doing good work has ever made anyone feel less than comfortable on our set, or feel less than celebrated for their efforts." The series, which is in its second season, is now in jeopardy as Crawford's character will have to be recast quickly if it's to survive for a third season.

Given how the options on the cast expire at the end of next month, a decision is likely to be made in the coming days if a third season of Lethal Weapon goes forward.
