We're well used to the weird and wonderful it comes to speculation about the XFactor judges, but when a name like Noel Gallagher starts being thrown around, we have to stop and laugh, just a little. The latest word on the street is that the ex-Oasis musician has been offered a contract worth £2 million to get him on board for the latest series. That's according to The Sun though, so we'll take it with a pinch of salt.
That said, Simon Cowell has approached Noel before, and back in February 2012, he did say he'd sign up if they gave him £1 million. Could it be that he's finally reached an agreement? Eh, considering what he said about it later, we're not so sure...
"I don't want to be on f**king television. I don't like being on television when I'm playing live. I don't even like being on Jools Holland or any of them programmes. I don't like it. It's not for me. So being on TV every week - although it would be undoubtedly brilliant for you to watch it - it would be a waste of my time." The man certainly doesn't mince his words.
We're going to sit on this one for now, and call it as a rumour. We really can't see him on the panel ourselves, but stranger things have happened. Noel does have one thing right though - it would make brilliant telly.
