If you love a good thriller then the next Netflix exclusive offering, Hemlock Grove, will be right up your alley. Based on the novel by Brian McGreevy, the American horror/thriller drops online later this month on April 19th, and it certainly looks set to be a bit of a thriller.

Y'see, there's been a brutal murder in a small Pennsylvania town by the name of, you guessed it, Hemlock Grove, and nobody is quite sure what happened. A young girl's body is found near the old Godfrey steel mill, and the mob soon start to spread rumours linking townsfolk to the killing. As whispers whirl around the community, two of the suspects decide to find the killer themselves.

Peter Rumancek's a 17-year-old Gypsy, who everyone thinks is a werewolf, while young Roman Godfrey is the heir to a rather substantial estate. Could either of them be behind the murder and hoping to cover their tracks? In Hemlock Grove, nothing's ever quite what it seems. Will the boys find a monster in the town where everyone's got a secret to hide?

The scene is set for a spine tingling mystery, but a story is nothing without actors to bring it to life. X-Men star Famke Jansen is on board as Olivia Godfrey, Roman's mysterious and unpredictable mammy, while Stellan Skarsgard's son Bill (yes, there's another one) stars as the troubled teen. Add the delectable Dougray Scott as his daddy, with Landon Liboiron and Six Feet Under star Lili Taylor as the reclusive gypsies, and now you're sucking diesel!

Did we mention the whole thing's been executive produced by Eli Roth, the man who brought us terrifying flicks like Hostel and Hostel: Part II? We'll be sleeping with the lights on for a while...

Catch Hemlock Grove exclusively on Netflix from April 19th.
