So, remember how Benedict Cumberbatch went and let the cat out of the bag about Sherlock Season 4? Well, it seems as though Martin Freeman's been giving his two cents on the hit BBC show continuing, and we're pretty sure fans of the show will be only delighted to hear what he had to say.
"I believe in doing things for as long as people love them, and all I can say is that I really love the show", the Hobbit star told Empire magazine. "I feel very loyal to it and I like doing it... for as long as they want to do it and as long as we all want to do it."
So, if you were worried that Martin would be far too busy disappearing over the Misty Mountains cold to chase down criminals with Cumberbatch, then you'll be able to breathe a great big sigh of relief. In fact, Freeman's so dedicated to the cause that he originally turned down the role of Bilbo Baggins because filming clashed with Sherlock.
"I've got some great reactions to things I'm very proud of, but I don't think any surpass Sherlock in terms of critical acclaim and number of people watching - and just a general feeling that you're in a mini Beatlemania," he told the magazine. N'awww, now that's dedication. Wonder if has anything to do with his missus joining the show?
And a word to the wise for Sherlock fans, Benedict's joining Graham Norton for a chat about Star Trek: Into Darkness tonight - don't miss it.
