In a case of life imitating art, it seems Jon Hamm may have one thing in common with his on-screen Mad Man character and that's his hard drinking.
The actor has completed thirty days in rehab according to TMZ, having checked himself into the Connecticut facility at the end of February.
A representative for Hamm told TMZ: "With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward."
It does not seem to be effecting his publicity campaign for the second half of the final season of Mad Men however, with the actor appearing in a load of engagements and photo ops in New York this week and he is expected to attend Mad Men's L.A. premiere tonight.
So... seems like he is doing well despite this news. Nothing can keep Don Draper down! Which is great considering what an absolute gent he is supposed to be.
