Those 'Love Island' couples are just dropping like flies. Over the weekend, Jack Fowler and Laura Crane confirmed they had split while Laura Anderson has now revealed why her and Paul Knops decided to part ways.

The couple, who came in second on the series, broke up fairly soon after the show ended it's emerged.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Laura explained: "When we came out of the villa there was a lot of work-related things we did together and then Paul went away for three weeks.

"He went to the Burning Man festival in America and he couldn't get phone signal for a week. I was absolutely fine with that. I trusted him not to do things with other girls, which he didn't.

"I was hoping that when he came back we'd spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn't happen," she added.

Laura also said that she has now unfollowed Paul on Instagram because she doesn't "really want to see what he's up to now because I'm not involved in that".

"If he needs me he'd call me but I don't want to watch his stories," she continued. "You have a little look now and again and it torments you!"

So after all her trials and tribulations in the villa, Laura still hasn't found her happy ending, but if her Instagram is anything to go by, she is doing just fine on her own.
