Ireland's chat shows return this weekend with 'The Late Late Show' back this Friday and Ray D'Arcy returning the following night for his weekly show.
The first Ray D'Arcy Show of the season has managed to bag the winners of the most talked about series of the summer, as 'Love Island''s Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham stop by for a chat. They'll be filling Ray in on life since leaving the villa, what it’s like living together away from the TV cameras, how they avoided joining the "Do Bits Society", as well as their plans for the future.
Also on the show, creator of the breakout comedy of the year 'Derry Girls' will be in studio as Lisa McGee joins Ray along with some of the stars of the show to talk about what makes 'Derry Girls' so great and making the switch from screen to stage for her new play 'Girls and Dolls'.
There’ll be music from Damien Dempsey who will also be talking about tracing his ancestry for TV series 'Who Do you Think You Are?', which kicks off on Sunday night.
Finally, Ray will chat to Alison Nevin, the young girl who received massive cheers when she asked Pope Francis for a selfie while he will also meet Oisin Langford and Ned Hawkins from Waterford, who are determined to turn their comic business into a massive industry making them millionaires before they are teenagers.
So now, not a bad start of the season from Ray, not bad at all.
Catch The Ray D’Arcy Show Saturday at 9:45pm on RTÉ One.
