We know it feels like summer is officially dead now that 'Love Island' is over but worry not because ITV bosses are already plotting a new season of the show and it could be coming sooner than you think.
According to the Daily Star, 'Love Island' producers are keen to capitalise on the massive success of this year's show and are currently scoping out villas in the Canaries for a winter edition to get us through the grimness that is January.
"The public have shown they can’t get enough of Love Island and this year has been the show’s ‘watercooler moment’," an 'insider' told the Daily Star.
"ITV is really keen to exploit the massive momentum it’s got at the minute and bosses are thinking really big all the time."
"They run loads of series like Towie all year round so why not with a show like this?"
It's something that fans of the show have been calling for since the end of this year's season was announced and while they don't appear to be taking all the advice they're getting on Twitter, it's nice to see them listening.
