Although they played Jon Snow and Ygritte together on 'Game Of Thrones' and that didn't end particularly well, Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie today ended up tying the knot in Scotland.
The two actors, both 31, got hitched today in Wardhill Castle in Inverurie, Scotland in a private ceremony that was attended by family, friends and - yes - castmembers from 'Game Of Thrones'.
In fact, Harrington made it pretty clear to producers on the hit show that they were going to have shut down filming for a day or two in order to make sure everyone could attend.
"I rang up (the producer) and I said, “I’m getting married and it’s your fault actually...", I think for the final season he is so stressed that he’s reached that peaceful level," Harrington told Jonathan Ross last year. "They (the cast) have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down."
Indeed, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke and Maisie Williams were all sighted in the locality on the run-up to the wedding. Let's just hope it doesn't end up like other weddings in 'Game Of Thrones'.
