If you were watching ITV's 'Loose Women' yesterday you would have caught quite a bit of drama as Kim Woodburn and panellist Coleen Nolan clashed, leading to the former storming off set in tears.
The pair have had bad blood between them ever since they appeared on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2017 with Woodburn accusing Nolan, and some of the other housemates, of bullying her while in the house. Nolan insists that wasn't that case and that Woodburn was constantly argumentative.
It was hoped that this interview would see them bury the hatchet however, safe to say that is NOT what happened:
Hard to watch, 'ey? Feels like the panel ganged up on her a bit and as volatile as Kim can be, she clearly genuinely feels she was bullied in the CBB house. Then again, Kim is no stranger to arguing with presenters on TV.
A spokeswoman for Woodburn told the Press Association in a statement: "Kim was invited onto 'Loose Women' as she was told Coleen wanted to hold peace talks with her.
"When she arrived this morning, Kim was briefed and told Coleen would speak first and give her reasons for their row. She was told Coleen wanted to bury the hatchet.
"However when Kim walked on set, Coleen refused to speak first and made Kim do all the talking.
"This left Kim on the spot and out of her depth.
"This incident has left Kim incredibly upset and she feels disappointed with what happened."
While ITV said in a statement: "Kim agreed to come onto the panel today at the invitation of the producers on the understanding it was for a reconciliation with Coleen.
"Kim becoming upset was never the intention and the panel did endeavour to comfort her.
"She was offered counselling after the show, which she declined."
Following Woodburn’s exit, Nolan told viewers: "We have got members of our team with Kim backstage.
"We didn’t intend for it to actually end like that, we were hoping, actually, genuinely hoping, for some kind of reconciliation, but that wasn’t going to happen."
