Gather round 24 fans, for it seems as though your beloved Jack Bauer may yet be back in action on the big screen. Yes, Kiefer Sutherland himself has said that he still hopes to make a movie version of the rather popular action packed drama.

The Sun was speaking to the actor about his current TV show Touch, when the topic popped up in conversation. "I want to make the 24 movie as long as I can run - and last week I figured out I still could", he explained. "I had to chase someone for the first time in a very long time and when we finished the scene, one of the crew said with a wink, 'That felt pretty familiar, didn't it? Kind of cool to watch you run again. I didn't know if you could anymore'."

You'll remember we told you way back when, that director Antoine Fuqua said he didn't think the movie was ever going to happen. "Yeah, that's not happening. I don't think it's gonna happen at all, definitely not with me", he said, adding that the production had been delayed by Sutherland's commitments to Touch. "I don't think he was able to get a proper agreement with Fox. The time just passed, and I went off to go to what I was doing." he said at the time.

Guess Kiefer has other ideas about that. And speaking of other ideas, he also revealed that he's going to make a movie with big daddy Donald for the first time. No, not Trump, Sutherland. "We're going to make a Western together. It's the story of a son coming home from the Civil War after his mother has died." he said. "He and the father have not seen eye-to-eye for many years. But in an effort to save the family farm, they find each other. It's a beautiful story. I'm very, very excited - and nervous - about doing it."

Well Kiefer, we're just very excited about seeing it...
