It's that time of year again when a batch of brand new so-called celebrities head off to the Australian jungle to be tortured for a few weeks, and somehow the drama of it sucks us all in. This year's show gets underway next week, and the official lineup has now been finally revealed.

You may not recognise a lot of these heads, so we'll start with some of the more familiar ones.

Carol Vorderman

The former Countdown mathematician has been confirmed for 'I'm A Celeb', and the 55-year-old has already been pegged as the 'brains' of the jungle. No pressure then, Carol.

Scarlett Moffatt

The Gogglebox star has reportedly already landed in Australia and has quit the Channel 4 show for a stint on the series. Scarlett has also recently lost a significant amount of weight and has a fitness DVD on the way. Given how popular she is with viewers on Gogglebox, Scarlett could be a real contender to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Larry Lamb

EastEnders fans may know him as the evil Archie Mitchell but Gavin and Stacey fans will see him only as the loveable Mick. Larry also had a high profile relationship with Lady Colin Campbell, last year's most controversial contestant. If he can handle Lady C, we reckon he can handle the jungle.

Adam Thomas

The Emmerdale star is all set for the jungle, and there's rumours that his two famous brothers could be joining him. Scott Thomas starred in reality series Love Island over the summer, while Ryan Thomas was of course Corrie's Jason Grimshaw until he left the soap earlier in the year.

Lisa Snowdon

Here's a face we haven't seen in a while. The TV presenter was quite a big name in the noughties and had an on-off relationship with George Clooney for five years.

Jordan Banjo

Jordan is part of dance group Diversity who went on to huge success after their 2009 Britain's Got Talent win. He also dated Little Mix's Jesy Nelson for a while.

Joel Dommett

Bringing some well-needed laughs to the jungle will be comedian Joel Dommett. You also may know Joel for his role as DC Sweeney on Skins.

Sam Quek

Sam was part of the gold medal-winning British Olympic hockey team this summer.

Ola Jordan

Ola, from Poland, was a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 to 2015.

Martin Roberts

Martin co-presents BBC One property auction series, Homes Under the Hammer.

Danny Baker

Danny is an English comedy writer, journalist, radio DJ and screenwriter. He has worked for NME, the BBC and Talk Radio.

Wayne Bridge

The retired English footballer played for Chelsea, West Ham, Manchester City and Fulham during his Premier League career.  The producers will no doubt hope he will spill all about the affair John Terry is said to have had with his ex-girlfriend and mother to his child, Vanessa Perroncel back in 2010. Wayne is now married to The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford and the pair have two children together.
