Louis Walsh wants to sign him, lads want to be him, and all the women in the country are fawning over him, so it's no surprise to hear that Clare hurler Shane O'Donnell is one of the guests of honour on The Late Late Show this evening.

The hat trick heartthrob, described by his peers as "the Justin Bieber of Clare hurling", will be in RTE's Studio 1 with teammate Patrick Donnellan and Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald to talk all about the Banner's big win over Cork in last weekend's All Ireland Hurling Final replay at GAA HQ.

We're sure that lucrative 'Mid-Westlife' offer Louis made on TV3's Late Lunch Live will be up for discussion, and sure don'cha know the show is where another big Irish boyband made their debut... We're sure Shane and Patrick could give Ronan Keating and co a run for their money. We hope they've got a copy of that up tempo track handy, it must be on iTunes at this stage.

It's a big weekend for RTE's chat shows, what with Laura Whitmore flying home to join the Late Late line up and Breaking Bad's Dean Norris jetting in to chat with Brendan O'Connor on The Saturday Night Show tomorrow evening. It sure beats an oul chinwag with the gang from the canteen, eh?

Catch all the action as it unfolds on RTE One from 9.35pm tonight.
