Last night saw Chris Evans and TFI Friday make a return to our TV screens and, by all accounts, it looks like it was a successful return for all concerned.
The show, which reached a peak audience of 4.3 MILLION viewers last night, garnered over 20% of all viewers on the night and trended on Twitter for several hours.
So, what did we think? Let's take a look...
It's a strange thing to see a TV show twenty years on and not much has dated? It proves how ahead of its time #TFIFriday was

You know when you haven't seen a friend for years and you just pick up where you left off, don't you just love that? #TFIFriday

Everyone aged over 30 is loving #TFIFriday. Everyone under 30 is wondering what's going on!

For a lot of people, it was a lovely trip down Nostalgia Lane.
I might have to go dig out my Buffalo trainers and splash on some watered down CK1 from Wembley market at this rate. #90s #TFIFriday

About now I'd be on the CinzanoðŸ?», then end of #TFIFriday, then £6 cab to Ritzy's. 20 years on - massaging preggers wife, daughter asleep!! ðŸ?¼

Young people: this is how fun TV was before it was taken over by endless shows about dumb sun-tanned tattooed British morons #TFIFriday

Really hope they'll do the 'does the baby fall left or right or forward' thing. That was brilliant. #TFIFriday

It's been heavily speculated that the one-off show was a method of testing the waters for all concerned, to see if there's still an audience left for TFI Friday.
By all accounts and metrics, it would seem, there's definitely a need for TFI Friday to return.
The show's good-natured, anarchic sensibilities mixed with Chris Evan's likeable, infectious personality is too good to pass up.
Here's a few clips from the night in question.
What do you think? Did you watch it? And would you watch it on a regular basis if it returned?
