Not the most likely next step for the star of Glee, but maybe that's a good thing. MTV News has reported that Lea Michelle will have a guest role in the biker crime drama Sons of Anarchy in an episode of the final season. She'll be a long way from McKinley High, that's for sure.

Michele will play Gertie, an “empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time.” The show has also added Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love to its final season lineup, so the Glee star was not an obvious choice, to say the least.

Although, it will probably do wonders to shake off any character type-casting she may fall into after her long stint on the musical show. We still can't quite picture it, but ever since the McConaissance, who can really be sure of anything anymore?
