Sky News have reported that sadly actor Roger Lloyd-Pack has passed away aged 69. The actor played the much loved character of Trigger on Only Fools and Horses.
His agent confirmed he died of pancreatic cancer on Wednesday night.
The actor had a career spanning almost 50 years, with roles in shows such as The Vicar of Dibley and Doctor Who. He was also no stranger to the big screen either, playing the part of Barty Crouch in 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as well as a role in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
Sad news to hear this Thursday afternoon, as the man was a legend responsible for some of the best comedy moments British TV has had to offer.
Father Ted writer Graham Linehan took to Twitter to say:
Very sad news about Roger Lloyd Pack. Trigger was an ancestor to Father Dougal and I'm glad I once had a chance to tell him so.
