The hit series is set to return on January 7th, and the first contestant has been confirmed as none other than Deirdre O'Kane.
In a press statement sent out this morning, O'Kane said she's "excited and nervous," but said that the show "is a whole new experience for me but what better way to banish the January blues than to take to the dance floor!"
O'Kane's dancing partner has not yet been revealed, however the next contestant on the show is expected to be announced tomorrow.
